This course will be completed over 12 weeks with learners attending 1 day each week.
The level 4 micropigmentation is assessed by a portfolio of work including written assignments and practical treatments over 3 units.
The Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Micropigmentation (RQF) is aimed at those learners who are experienced beauty therapists and looking to add a specialism to their portfolio of skills. The purpose of Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Micropigmentation (RQF) aims to provide learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to prepare and provide safe, micropigmentation treatment.
A learner must have previously completed a level 3 Beauty Therapy related qualification In circumstances where learners do not hold a formal qualification, but have a minimum of 2 years’ occupational experience, entry to the qualification may be considered subject to a centre interview, and review by Focus Awards of current knowledge, understanding and skills. Learners will be required to demonstrate their ability to cope with the demands of the programme, and entry via this route will be assessed on an individual basis. Centres must ensure that evidence of pre-requisite knowledge and skills – whether through formal qualifications, or assessment of experience – is retained and available upon request by Focus Awards.

The Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Dermaplaning Treatments (RQF) will provide learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to provide dermaplaning treatments to clients
Learners must have previously completed and achieved a level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy and a level 2 in Skin Care and Facial Treatments.

Learners must have previously completed and achieved or are working towards an anatomy and physiology qualification at a minimum of Level 4, with a core knowledge of facial anatomy and experience of investigative consultation. In circumstances where learners do not hold a formal qualification, but have a minimum of 2 years’ occupational experience, entry to the qualification may be considered subject to a centre interview, and review by Focus Awards of current knowledge, understanding and skills.

The aim of the Focus Awards Level 2 Award in Skin Care and Facial Treatments (RQF) is to provide learners with the knowledge and understanding to safely provide facial treatments to clients. During the qualification learners will learn the skills required to practice health and safety in a salon environment, gain suitable communication skills to care for clients and learn about the facial anatomy and physiology, legislation of products for skin care, prepare for and provide skin care information and facials to clients. Age Ranges: Entry is at the discretion of the centre. However, learners should be aged 16 to undertake this qualification. Learner Entry Requirements: Focus Awards does not set any other entry requirements, but additional criteria may be requested or specified by the centre.

Learners will attend 3 days initial training with 1 additional assessment day to complete the course.

The Focus Awards Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) provides learners with the knowledge of the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training. It provides understanding and implementation of inclusive teaching and learning, facilitation of individual and group learners and knowledge of assessment and its implementation in education and training.
This qualification is aimed at those learners not currently teaching, learners currently teaching and training and those learners currently working as assessors who wish to achieve a qualification that provides an introduction to teaching.
Age Range Entry is at the discretion of the centre. However, learners should be aged 19+ to undertake this qualification

The purpose of this qualification is to confirm competence in an occupational role to the standards required.
The Focus Awards Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement is intended for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in a workshop, classroom or other training environment other than assessing competence in a work environment.
Age Range Entry is at the discretion of the centre. However, learners should be aged 19 to undertake this qualification.
